Investments will improve international competitiveness and efficiency; they will provide appropriate answers to the challenges of the future.

The VNT-2020-1 tender announced by the National Investment Agency aimed to mitigate the crisis created by the Covid situation. In the frame of the tender, the company can purchase real estate, purchase assets and develop infrastructure.

4S-2000 Ltd. will buy the neighbouring residential buildings and an office building, which will make its area almost double than that of 2018. The new properties will serve for warehousing as well as for high value-added activities, such as planning, education.

Facilities that are far from being exploited from an industrial point of view will further improve the competitiveness of the area and will be an essential condition for the company to be the intellectual centre of the mechanical engineering profession. A Mitsubishi MVR 1200 Connect Japanese wire spark erosion machine is the company’s old investment goal, which will not only allow us to modernize production, but double our wire spark machining capacity.

The company also buys a Z-Mat TN600 driven tool CNC turning machine, which will be a big help in serial production. The company also buys a CNC edge bending machine and 5 high-performance welding machines. For educational purposes, it also purchases two pieces of conventional Bernardo FM 45 HSV milling machines, which serve to teach students in vocational and adult education. Furthermore, the company purchases special vices and driven tools for the five-axis machining centres.

In addition, in order to develop the infrastructure for efficient operation, the company is implementing a site-wide central thermostat system, which can lead to significant energy cost savings. Similarly, an IP camera security system that replaces the company’s guard and protection system, will save for the manufacturing company tens of millions a year in the long run.

The company will also introduce IP-based telephony to the entire site, purchase active network equipment, and set up a separate external quality control department to help with employee monitoring. The tender also includes the introduction of a state-of-the-art financial system and the purchase of a Solidedge license to help with planning and design. The project is expected to run until July 2021.
