"The workplace is our second home“

For the first time, 4S-2000 Ltd. did not hold its traditional Christmas event on a weekday. In terms of the number of participants, a record was certainly set, much to the surprise of the organizers, to which the special program probably contributed.

After the short year-end speeches, the professional awards for the year 2023 were allocated. This time, the Csaba Molnár award went to the welding workshop manager, Béla Lakatos, for his outstanding work in the field of education and production. The prize - paying tribute to the memory of a former exemplary colleague of 4S-2000 Ltd. - is awarded every year to the colleague who stands out not only with his professional work, but also with his attitude. This year, a new award - created on the initiative of one of the executives - was also established; the "discovery of the year" was Richard Szóljánik. At the event, the company recognized the work of colleagues who retired in the past 12 months with a gift. About five colleagues reached the retirement age, a few of them still work for the company.

A special event also took place during the evening. Anyone could admire the craters of the Moon, the cloud bands of Jupiter and their moons with a 250/1200 telescope. Meanwhile, the Christmas skills competition was held in the company's dining room, where József Rácz, Csaba Vojtkó and Dániel Zámbó received good wine as a prize. And as a highlight of the evening, the „hard core” could inaugurate the company's club room.
